This weekend it’s pink, green & brown to match the new owl. Next week, it may be back to the old owl, but with blue & green colored text to match. Do you think the pink is too much? let me know! cv

No no no, keep it like this! I love it!
Love, love, love it this way!
Pink is in principle fine, especially for the graphics, but I find this font harder to read (lines are too thin somehow), and the pink-on-white print especially hard to read. I think darker colors are easier to read on a white background. But pink is very popular in my house!
SBW, I’m going to play with some fonts to see if I can find one that is easier to read. In the meantime, I did darken much of the pink and green. I think/hope it still coordinates with the graphic. And you know I’m doing this instead of the laundry. heh heh heh cv
I like the pink, but it can be a bit harder to read. Can you make it more “burgundy”? You could also bold the fonts that are in pink, and it would make them easier to read.
Hi D, I dropped the colors down a bit… I have a programming problem with the sidebar that’s in the way of getting those links the color that I want, and it will take me a week or two to fix that/find someone who will fix that for me. cv
I notice that you bolded them between earlier and now, and it’s much more readable now. Thanks. :)
very feminine. hope it doesn’t drive away the male readers ;-)
i like how the green and the pink work together but i would also prefer a darker pink to make reading easier. did you change the font also?
F, I can’t remember what font it used to be– I forgot to write it down, then when I went to revise… I ‘m just messing with fonts right now. I expect/hope to hear from some Dads about whether they can deal with a pink blog. cv
darker pink is VERY nice. imho the green could be more lush, but really, this is complaining on a very high level of comfort.
Keep it, keep it, keep it!
Love the colors, but what happend to the search box?
I *love* the owl!! squee!
THATs a good question… I didn’t even notice the search box was missing….. geeez. off to find it. cv
You found it=)
Love the new colors!
I liked the old tagline better; it was a bit livelier. The new one is simple (which is good) but at the cost of being overly general, almost to the point of being too vague.
I love the green.
I do find myself missing the blue now.
The pink is ok for highlights, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by it in the right nav. Maybe it’s because I have two girls. :-)
I like the font change, and the color choices now. I also like seeing the contributing HP. What a great way to come back!
