Let’s Celebrate!

by cv harquail on March 8, 2010

I was surprised to discover that AuPairMom has just published our 300th post!

It’s hard to believe. But even more amazing?

These 300 posts have generated 6, 151 comments from us.

What a happy amount of wisdom going around.

To celebrate, two things are in order…
First, invite a host parent friend to come join us here at AuPairMom.
Second, indulge me in my Hello Kitty enthusiasm.

(You know you love Hello Kitty. You don’t have to be embarrassed about that. We’ve certainly shared worse secrets.)

Thanks so much, CV! I’ve been reading your blog for more than a year and greatly appreciate your thoughtful posts as well as the community comments. It has definitely helped me to be a better host parent. I successfully managed 6 live-in nannies for a span of 10 years, but I underestimated/didn’t fully understand the differences between that relationship and having an au pair. This blog (which ironically I found through my first au pair with whom I had a strained relatonship) has greatly helped me. We were/are still close to our former nannies (just helped one update her resume for a non-nanny position!), but there are definitely different expectations. I learn some new tidbit (or discover something to add to our handbook) in every post!
